What’s the Potato of the Day?
Five Guys list the farm and state where they procure their potatoes from for that day. On any given Tuesday the potatoes might be from Idaho, Farm X or Wyoming, Farm M. Similarly, I sometimes wonder if Texas Roadhouse procures their potatoes and coupons from different vendors or farms from the various continental United States. Carbs are high in count in potatoes but the taste completely smothers the cons of eating them. Those that are in atkins diet, please don’t even bother reading this article. Discounting is a commonly used approach by restaurants to retain loyal customers and to attract new ones. The economy hasn’t done anyone any favors. So why not offer some discounts and promotions to keep the tables occupied at the steakhouse?

Now, back to the carbs discussion – when you order mashed potatoes you can order them with full fixings or with just sour cream and bacon bits. I like them any style. After gulping down on them I never fail to hit the trail with about 5 miles of running. The coupons are entirely applicable even if they display as expired.
Kids especially enjoy fries, steak fries, potato wedges, and mashed potatoes. Although I must admit they also love the newly popular sweet potato fries. There’s hardly a family without kids that ever visit the steakhouse.
At the end you can also decide to pick up a gift card for your friend or child but the coupons won’t be applicable to those because the restaurants actually lose money. Remember, every unoccupied table any hour of the day or night is lost revenue for Texas Roadhouse. So they’ll encourage you to visit again and again. Whether you order potatoes or steaks, you’ll never go hungry or unhappy.
